I really like the fonts that you are going to be using as I think that they work really well together and I also like the colour pallettes that you have used.
Neutral colours are nice and all, but you'll definitely need something with a starkly (that wasn't meant to be a pun, but god I love Iron Man) contrasting colour to it on the page to keep things interesting and not completely dulled. Like on the cover with Robert Downey Jr., where the title of the magazine is in red, the stylistic background of the 'PAPER' magazine or the coloured tint to the helmets of Daft Punk.
I think the fact you have chosen to use two front covers instead of one is a really good idea and is quite different, i like that you've chosen a simplistic format and i think the colour schemes you're considering match your target audience perfectly.
